Fan Xia is the Chief Genomics Officer at Baylor Genetics, where he leads clinical genomics operations, reporting, R&D, bioinformatics, and scientific innovation. An ABMGG board-certified clinical molecular geneticist, he has driven the development and implementation of rapid whole-genome sequencing, exome sequencing, expanded carrier screening, transcriptomics assays, and single-gene NIPT workflows. He also serves as a faculty member in molecular and human genetics at Baylor College of Medicine and has contributed to discoveries in neurological and developmental disorders.
