Mio Akasako is the Co-Founder and Vice President of Marketing at Ash, where she leads brand, design, and marketing strategy. Since 2020, she has played a key role in building Ash’s presence as a healthcare company focused on accessible testing and member engagement.

Previously, Akasako worked as a Research Associate at Kallyope and as a Research Specialist at the Princeton Neuroscience Institute. She also has experience as a freelance Japanese–English translator, supporting projects across science and technology.

She earned a Master of Science in Data Visualization from Parsons School of Design – The New School and also studied at Cornell Tech through its Product Studio and Startup Studio programs.
