Stephanie Lahr, MD, CHCIO, FACHDM is a physician and healthcare technology leader dedicated to bringing joy back to medicine and reducing friction in care delivery. She is the founder of Vital Thread Advisory, a firm that partners with health tech companies, startups, health systems, and investors to align innovation with the realities of clinical practice, with a focus on AI, workflow automation, and digital transformation.

Dr. Lahr also serves as Chief Medical Officer for uPerform and CAREX AI, and previously was President and Chief Experience Officer at Artisight. Board certified in Internal Medicine and Clinical Informatics, she earned her MD from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and is certified as a Healthcare CIO (CHCIO) through CHIME.
